Taylor Patterson is a biracial, multi-hyphenate artist based in Toronto, specializing in filmmaking, journalism, and video creation.
Best known as “the blogTO guy,” Taylor made his mark as the publication’s first full-time digital host — producing and hosting viral content viewed by millions. From red carpets with Nicolas Cage, Timothée Chalamet, Ben Stiller, and Jordan Peele to uncovering stories that connect with everyday Torontonians, Taylor became a recognizable face and trusted storyteller in Canada’s media landscape.
Now an independent creator and entrepreneur, Taylor is focused on developing original stories, series, and opportunities that empower future artists. He’s the co-founder of the acclaimed party collective Oasis House, a Canon Creator, Soho House Mentor/Host, ART Agency talent, TEDx speaker, on-air personality, and writer-producer.
When he’s not in front of the camera, you’ll likely find him hosting events, diving into new creative projects, watching movies, or caught in yet another Larry David–esque situation that he’ll be overthinking for years to come.
